Split bearing units consist of a split housing, a split bearing and two split seals. The bearing may be either a spherical roller bearing or cylindrical roller bearing. Due to the split design of all components, this greatly facilitates the easy bearing replacements. The units are typically used in continuous casting, long propeller shafts etc. The split spherical roller bearing of the unit normally consists of two inner ring halves with lubrication groove and holes, four clamping ring and cage halves, one outer ring half and two lamellar sealing rings with one split. The inner ring division is at an angle to the bearing axis.
The main applications of Split roller bearings are included Mine machine, port hoisting machine, port oil transfer equipment, onshore and offshore crane, excavator, concrete machine, paper machine, plastic and rubber machine, weave machine, steel plant, electronic power plant, wind power generator, other construction and industry machines or equipment.
